PUBLIC SPACE ACTIVATION Workshop led by Zdeňka Němcová Zedníčková and Makoto Tanida trained constructive and programmatic thinking through hands-on urban design and place-making. Participants prepared for their fieldwork in Kutná Hora and deepened their understanding of local needs through Virtual Futurologist A°D°A AI Proto-Agents creation and consultations phase. Students created specialized AI Proto-Agents specifically for this event, to consult how to engage with the local people and tourists in public space by sharing Japanese Matcha tea, while designing and creating street furniture. The workshop emphasized how practical interventions: “hack” focused on rethinking urban infrastructure, and “picnic” on designing outdoor social spaces can be enhanced by incorporating AI consultants into traditional designers work-flow.
